6U/8U-Minimites/Mites - Fall
We offer 8U hockey for kids ages 4-8 years old. Our focus is the fundamentals and fun, with FUN being the priority!
Ages
Players ages 4 years to 8 years old.
When
October to Early-December.
Where
Fall 6U/8U is held in Gunnison at Jorgensen Indoor Ice Rink.
Practices
Practices are held on Saturday mornings.
Games
Scrimmages are Saturday mornings late in the season.
Jerseys
Practice jerseys are provided. We ask that you return them on the last day of practice.
Equipment
All players will need the following equipment:
● Helmet (black is encouraged)
● mouth guard
● shoulder pads
● elbow pads
● gloves (black is encouraged)
● breezers (black is encouraged)
● shin pads
● socks
● skates
● stick
● water bottle
Other equipment: equipment bag, jock strap, socks, neck guard.
Rental Gear Bags
Rental gear bags are available for $25 per season and include all gear except skates and sticks.
